AHRN T3 App in ActionMedia RelationsComments off.
On March 7, 2014, Radiant team members had the pleasure of participating with the City of Corpus Christi Fire Department and Office of Emergency Management in a mass casualty exercise at the city airport. The event focused on first response to a plane crash with numerous “victims” in states of Triage, Treatment and Transport.
If you recall the San Francisco airplane crash last year, you may remember seeing the different colored tarps where victims are organized by severity of their injuries. The Corpus Christi exercise was laid out the same way, and first responders used Radiant’s T3 iPhone and Android app to more quickly and accurately process victims as they moved through the phases of treatment and release.
Although it was exciting to see our app “in action”, it brings home a sense of who we are and why we love our work. Using today’s technology to assist responders, emergency managers – and ultimately, victims — of disasters is at our core. Over the past six years we have had the opportunity to work with several state and local emergency managers to better handle movement of people when time is of the essence. We look forward to future opportunities and partnerships with our amazing AHRN customers.Posted in: Blog
